IDENTIFIKASI BAKTERI Helicobacter pylori pada Gastritis dan Escherichia coli pada Gastroenteritis MENGGUNAKAN METODE ELEKTROFORESIS
Objective: This study aims to identify the presence of H. pylori DNA in patients with Gastritis and E. coli DNA in patients with gastroenteritis using the electrophoresis method following PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) amplification. Methods: This
experimental laboratory study utilized 10 blood samples, consisting of 5 from Gastritis patients and 5 from gastroenteritis patients. DNA was extracted from the samples, followed by PCR amplification using specific primers targeting the ureA gene for H. pylori and stx1 gene for E. coli. The amplified products were then analyzed using agarose gel electrophoresis. Results: Out of five Gastritis samples, four (80%) showed DNA bands at 294 bp, indicating the presence of H. pylori. All five gastroenteritis samples (100%) exhibited DNA bands at 302 bp, indicating the presence of E. coli. The electrophoresis method demonstrated clear and consistent results in detecting both bacterial DNAs.Conclusion:
