HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN TINGKAT DEPRESI PADA PASIEN DENGAN PENYAKIT GAGAL GINJAL KRONIS (GGK) DI RUMAH SAKIT GRENDMED LUBUK PAKAM 2025

This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted
from December 2025 to January 2026 in the hemodialysis ward at Grandmed Hospital in Lubuk Pakam. A sample of 34 respondents was selected using purposive sampling, meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instruments used were a social support questionnaire and a depression questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents (14 respondents) had good social support. The majority of respondents (35.3%) had moderate depression. The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between social support and depression levels in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
