HUBUNGAN KADAR FERRITIN DAN HEMOGLOBIN DENGAN KASUS THALASSEMI MAYOR PADA ANAK DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH HARAPAN INSAN SENDAWAR

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between ferritin and hemoglobin levels with cases of thalassemia major in children at Harapan Insan Sendawar Regional General Hospital. The research method was a descriptive analytical correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the study from 31 respondents there were 23 respondents (74.20%) cases of thalassemia major in children in the anemia category against 12 respondents (38.70%) in the high category and 11 respondents (35.50%) in the low hemoglobin category, while 8 respondents (25.80%) cases of thalassemia major in children in the non-anemia category against 4 respondents (12.90%) in the normal ferritin category and 4 respondents (12.90%) in the normal hemoglobin category.
