HUBUNGAN PENINGKATAN KADAR GULA DARAH DENGAN PENINGKATAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI PUSKESMAS SOSOPAN

Research Objective: To determine the relationship between increased blood sugar levels and increased blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Sosopan Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Research Method: An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design, utilizing purposive sampling to select 38 respondents. Research Results: The correlation coefficient was -0.351, indicating that the increase in respondents' blood pressure was not dependent on the increase in blood sugar levels, and vice versa. The probability value of 0.031 was less than 0.05; therefore, the hypothesis was accepted.
