KORELASI KADAR LEUKOSIT DENGAN TROMBOSIT PADA PENDERITA DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI LABORATORIUM MEDIS ANUGERAH KISARAN KUARTAL IV TAHUN 2024

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a correlation between leukocyte and platelet levels in DHF patients at the Anugerah Kisaran Medical Laboratory. The type of research conducted was cross-sectional with a purposive sampling method. The population in this study was all DHF patients at the Anugerah Kisaran Medical Laboratory, with a sample of 15 patients after calculation using the Slovin formula. In the study, 53% experienced leukopenia, 40% normal leukocytes and 7% experienced leukocytosis and 87% experienced thrombocytopenia and 13% normal platelets. In the two-sided Spearman rank correlation test, the results were r = 0.08482 at p table 0.05 = 0.560 so it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between the two variables.
