HUBUNGAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT DENGAN FAAL HATI (AST) PADA PASIEN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI KLINIK PRATAMA BERSAMA RICKYTA KABANJAHE

Objective: To determine the relationship between platelet count and liver function (SGOT) in patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) at Rickyta Kabanjahe Joint Clinic. Methods: A descriptive-analytic study design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. Results: All respondents (100%) exhibited a decrease in platelet count, with a mean value of 99,400/μL. The minimum value was 13,000/μL, indicating a high degree of clinical severity and a risk of serious hemorrhage. The mean AST value was 74.61, with a maximum value reaching 323, signifying significant liver function impairment.
