KORELASI KADAR HBA1C DENGAN NILAI TROMBOSIT PADA PASIEN DM TIPE 2 DI RSUD TGK CHIK DITIRO SIGLI

The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between HbA1c levels and platelet count in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The method used for measuring HbA1c levels was the Novatrend device, while platelet counts were measured using the Cell-Dyn Ruby hematology analyzer. This research was a descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional design and used consecutive sampling technique. The study population included all type 2 DM patients at RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli. The study was conducted in the laboratory of RSUD Tgk Chik Ditiro Sigli in May 2025. Among the 30 samples analyzed, female patients outnumbered male patients. Statistically, the results showed a p-value of 0.371, indicating that there was no significant correlation between HbA1c levels and platelet count in the patients.
