PERBEDAAN HEMOGLOBIN PADA SPESIMEN DARAH ANTIKOAGULAN TABUNG EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetra Acetic Acid ) DAN TABUNG CITRAT DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANMED LUBUK PAKAM
Objective: to determine whether there is a difference in hemoglobin levels between blood samples stored in EDTA and citrate tubes. Methods: This was an experimental quantitative study. Blood samples from 30 patients were divided into EDTA and citrate tubes. Hemoglobin levels were measured using a Sysmex-1000 Hematology Analyzer. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality and Paired Sample T-Test for statistical significance. Results: The average hemoglobin level in the EDTA tube was 8.98 g/dL, while in the citrate tube it was 8.53 g/dL. The Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two tubes.
