PERBEDAAN HASIL UREUM KREATININ MENGGUNAKAN TABUNG EDTA DAN TABUNG MERAH
The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in urea creatinine results using EDTA tubes and red tubes. The research method with a descriptive analysis research design with a cross-sectional approach. Research results From 22 serum and plasma samples from kidney failure patients at the Medan Occupational Health and Safety Center showed that there was no significant difference in urea levels examined using serum and plasma, with a p value = 0.917 (p> 0.05). Likewise, creatinine levels analyzed from both types of samples did not show a significant difference, with a p value = 0.988 (p> 0.05). Therefore, both serum and plasma can be used in laboratory examinations of kidney failure without any significant clinical differences.
