PERBANDINGAN KADAR KREATININ DARAH SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH HEMODIALISA PADA PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIS
Objective: This study aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference in blood creatinine levels before and after hemodialysis in patients with chronic kidney failure at Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar. Methods: A quantitative, pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted. Thirty patients were selected through purposive sampling. Creatinine levels were measured before and after one session of hemodialysis. Since the data were not normally distributed, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The mean creatinine level before hemodialysis was 13.403 mg/dL and decreased to 5.727 mg/dL after the procedure. The Wilcoxon test yielded a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between pre- and post-hemodialysis creatinine levels.
