HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN PEMBATASAN CAIRAN TERHADAP TERJADINYA HIPERVOLEMIA PADA PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RUANG HEMODIALISA DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM

This study aimed to determine the relationship between compliance with fluid restrictions and the occurrence of hypervolemia in chronic kidney disease patients in the Hemodialysis Ward of Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam, in 2025. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy twice a day at Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam, and routinely in the hemodialysis ward of Grandmed Hospital, Lubuk Pakam, totaling 118 people. A sample of 48 respondents was selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a fluid restriction compliance questionnaire and a hypervolemia questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The study showed that the majority of respondents were categorized as moderately compliant (43.8%), and a significant proportion experienced mild hypervolemia (41.7%).
