PERBANDINGAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER I, II, DAN III DENGAN METODE POINT OF CARE TESTING (POCT) DI PUSKESMAS SEI APUNG KECAMATAN TANJUNG BALAI KABUPATEN ASAHAN

Research Type and Design This study employed a quantitative research design with a descriptive comparative approach, comparing uric acid levels among pregnant women in the first, second, and third trimesters using the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. Among the 32 pregnant women, the mean uric acid level was 4.74 mg/dL (95% CI: 4.2–5.1), with a median of 4.3 mg/dL and a standard deviation of 1.1539. The lowest uric acid level recorded was 2.7 mg/dL, and the highest was 6.9 mg/dL. Based on the interval estimation results, it can be concluded with 95% confidence that the mean uric acid level among pregnant women falls between 4.2 mg/dL and 5.1 mg/dL.
