ANALISA KADAR HBA1C DAN KREATININ SERUM DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN DM TIPE 2 DI LAB KLINIK PRODIA WIDYAHUSADA CABANG MEDAN S.PARMAN
Research Objective: To analyze HbA1c and serum creatinine levels in relation to the occurrence of hypertension at the Prodia Widyausada Clinical Laboratory (Medan S. Parman branch). Research Method: An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design, utilizing purposive sampling to select 63 respondents. Research Results: A positive correlation coefficient of 0.91 indicates that changes in the respondents' HbA1c levels are associated with the occurrence of hypertension, and vice versa. The probability value of 0.476 exceeds 0.25, indicating a strong relationship; thus, the hypothesis is accepted. A negative correlation coefficient of -0.029 indicates that the respondents' serum creatinine levels are not dependent on the occurrence of hypertension, and vice versa. The probability value of 0.819 exceeds 0.25, indicating a strong relationship; thus, the hypothesis is rejected.
