HUBUNGAN KONDISI LINGKUNGAN RUMAH DENGAN KEJADIAN TUBERKULOSIS (TB) DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PANTAI LABU
This research used an analytic survey design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in Rantau Panjang Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, from January to May 2024. The population consisted of 100 pulmonary TB suspects, with total sampling used as the sampling technique. Results: The analysis showed a significant relationship between several housing environmental factors and TB incidence. Poor ventilation was found in 83.3% of TB-positive cases, with the chi- square test estimated to be significant (p < 0.05). There was a significant relationship between home humidity and TB incidence (p = 0.044), housing density (p = 0.01), and smoking habits (p = 0.01). There was a statistically significant relationship between ventilation, humidity, housing density, and smoking habits with pulmonary TB incidence.
