PERBEDAAN KADAR ASAM URAT METODE POCT DAN ENZIMATIK KOLORIMETRI PADA LANSIA
This study compares two variables, namely the POCT method and the enzymatic colorimetric method.
The study sample consisted of 20 elderly participants, comprising 10 females (50%) and 10 males (50%). Data were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-Test. The mean uric acid level using the enzymatic colorimetric method was 5,1 mg/dL with a standard deviation of 1.93, a minimum value of 2,4 mg/dL, and a maximum of 11.0 mg/dL. Using the POCT method, the values ranged from 4.3 to 13.9 mg/dL. The statistical test yielded a significance value of p = 0.200 (p > 0.05), indicating no statistically significant difference between the two methods.
