PENGARUH PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION (PMR) TERHADAP FREKUENSI NYERI PADA PASIEN CA MAMAE YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RUMAH SAKIT GRANDMED LUBUK PAKAM
A sample of 28 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique according to the inclusion criteria. The frequency of pain was measured using clinical categories of the pain scale.
Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Results: Before being given PMR, the majority of respondents experienced mild pain (53.6%), moderate pain (28.6%), and severe pain (17.9%). After the intervention, pain frequency decreased to 53.6% with no pain, 28.6% with mild pain, 14.3% with moderate pain, and only 3.6% with severe pain. The Wilcoxon test showed a Z-value of –5.196 with a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference between pain frequency before and after the intervention.
