PEMANFAATAN EKSTRAK DAUN JATI MUDA (Tectona grandis Lf) SEBAGAI PEWARNAALTERNATIF PADA PEMERIKSAAN SEDIMEN URIN DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI

Objective : This study aims to determine the ability of young teak leaves in coloring urine sediment which includes erythrocyte cells, leukocyte cells and epithelial cells while determining the optimal concentration. Method : This study used an experimental method by staining urine sediment using young teak leaf extract with a concentration variation of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% which was compared with the control dye sternheimer malbin. Results : The staining results show that 20% concentration produces the best color intensity on erythrocytes, leukocytes, and epithelial cells. Concentrations of 5% and 10% give poor and pale staining results, while 15% concentration produces moderate color.
