Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disease characterized by progressive airflow limitation that can cause impaired ventilation and increased respiratory rate. This condition has an impact on decreased activity tolerance and quality of life in patients. Therefore, effective nursing interventions are needed to help improve respiratory function. Nebulization is one of the nursing interventions used to deliver medication directly to the respiratory tract, thereby helping to open the airways and reduce shortness of breath in patients with COPD. This study aimed to determine the effect of nebulization on respiratory rate among COPD patients at Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam in 2025.
