HUBUNGAN KADAR TRIGLISERIDA DENGAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI (STUDI KASUS: PASIEN PROLANIS LABORATORIUM MEDIS ANUGERAH KABANJAHE)
This study aims to determine the relationship between triglyceride levels and blood pressure in hypertensive patients enrolled in the Prolanis program at Anugerah Medical Laboratory in Kabanjahe. This research employed a descriptive-analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 45 patients were selected using total sampling. The collected data included gender, age, blood pressure, and triglyceride levels, which were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods, including the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of patients (73.4%) experienced hypertension, and 66.7% had elevated triglyceride levels. However, the Chi-Square analysis revealed no statistically significant relationship between triglyceride levels and blood pressure (p = 0.495; Cramer's V = 0.245). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant association between triglyceride levels and blood pressure among hypertensive patients in this study.
