HUBUNGAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT DENGAN KADAR ALBUMIN PADA PASIEN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI RSUD HARAPAN INSAN SENDAWAR

Objective: To determine the correlation between platelet count and albumin level in DHF patients at RSUD Harapan Insan Sendawar. Method: This study used a quantitative method with an observational analytic approach and a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 32 DHF patients treated at RSUD Harapan Insan Sendawar, selected using total sampling technique. Data were obtained from medical records and analyzed using Pearson correlation test with SPSS software. Results: The analysis showed a significant positive correlation between platelet count and albumin level, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.278 and a significance value (p) of 0.023. This indicates that a decrease in platelet count tends to be accompanied by a decrease in albumin level. These two parameters reflect the physiological condition of DHF patients, particularly during the critical phase.
