ANALISA KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL DENGAN METODE POINT OF CARE TEST ( POCT ) PADA WANITA YANG MENGGUNAKAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI KB SUNTIK 3 BULAN DAN KB PIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PARINGGONAN
Objective: to determine total cholesterol levels using the Point Of Care Test (POCT) method in women using 3-month injectable contraceptives and contraceptive pills in the Paringgonan Health Center work area. This study used descriptive research. The population of this study was 149 users of 3-month injectable contraceptives and 65 users of contraceptive pills with a sample of 30 users of 3-month contraceptives and 13 users of contraceptive pills. This study used the Purposive Sampling technique. Purposive Sampling is a sampling technique that has certain considerations in sampling. This technique follows the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The measuring instrument used in this study was an observation sheet with a total cholesterol level examination on users of 3-month injection contraception and birth control pills in the Paringgonan Health Center work area. Method: the method used is the Point Of Care Test (POCT) then presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. Results: The study showed that out of 30 respondents who used 3-month injection contraception, most of them had normal cholesterol levels, 20 respondents (66.67%). And most of the samples of users of contraceptive pills also had normal cholesterol levels, 9 respondents (69.24%).
