PERBEDAAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA PENDERITA GAGAL GINJAL KRONIS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH HEMODIALISA (STUDI DI RS VITA INSANI)

METHOD: The type of research used is a quantitative research type with a comparative or comparison approach. This research was conducted at my current workplace, namely in the laboratory of the Vita Insani Hospital, Pematang Siantar, with a sample size of 42 people, which was carried out from January to April 2024. In this study, the data used was continuous quantitative data, with the Paired Samples Test. RESULTS: Based on the test samples that have been carried out during the study, it was found that the hemoglobin levels of patients before undergoing hemodialysis decreased with an average hemoglobin of 9.1 g/dl, and the hemoglobin levels of patients after undergoing hemodialysis increased with an average hemoglobin of 9.5 g/dl. Therefore, there is a significant difference between hemoglobin before and after hemodialysis in patients with kidney failure.
