IDENTIFIKASI JENIS CACING SOIL TRASNMITTED HELMINTH (STH) PADA ANAK SD NEGERI 017108 SENTANG KECAMATAN KISARAN TIMUR

The objective of this study was to identify the types of Soil-Transmitted Helminth (STH) infections among students at State Elementary School (SD Negeri) 017108 Sentang. This was a descriptive study utilizing an observational method. Analysis of 64 stool samples from the students revealed an STH infection rate of 1.57% (1 child), while 98.43% (63 children) were uninfected. Regarding the specific types of worms identified, Ascaris lumbricoides accounted for 100% of the cases, whereas Trichuris trichiura and hookworms were not detected.
