HUBUNGAN INDEKS MASSA TUBUH (IMT) DENGAN KADAR HBA1C PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE II DI LAB KLINIK PRODIA MEDAN S.PARMAN
Research Objective: To determine the relationship between Body Mass Index (BMI) and HbA1c levels in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at the Prodia Medan S. Parman Laboratory. Research Method: An analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design, utilizing purposive sampling to select 51 respondents. Research Results: The Pearson Correlation test yielded a negative correlation coefficient of -0.064, indicating that the respondents' Body Mass Index (BMI) is not dependent on HbA1c levels, and vice versa. The Pearson correlation value of 0.655 indicates a sufficiently strong correlation coefficient (>0.25).
